Helen Dhamaka - Mediafire
Now available, for the first time, Here at Mediafire. This is an upgraded version of the original release.
This DVD contains 40 rare Helen songs from VCD, video tapes, Youtube and various web sites. To the best of my knowledge, none are available on commercial DVDs...and may never be. The original quality of some of these videos was very poor. So, I remastered them to the best of my ability.

Thanks a lot for this amazing DVD of Helen containing many rare Helen songs!! Thanks and greatly appreciated!!! Keep releasing more and more DVDs on Helen..
ReplyDeleteWell do you know that there was an fantastic cabaret of Helen in the movie Pyar Ka Sapna called Night Is Lovely, can you please get it for all the Helen fans? Its really amazing with many western wordings and style. I guess one of the best cabaret of Helen ever with due respect to Piya Tu, O Haseena Zulfonwali and Aa Janeja!!
I have the Pyar Ka Sapna DVD and there is no such song called Night is Lovely. It appears that the Indian censors or the DVD maker removed the song. I'd love to see it, but that appears unlikely unless someone rips it from a VHS or Beta video tape that has it. There are at least 5 other Helen songs that have met the same fate as Night is Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm only through track 11 and they've all been great so far. Thanks for another great comp, and rescuing these as best as currently possible.
ReplyDeleteYw, Mark. Thanks for the feedback.
ReplyDeleteI did my best with what I had to work with. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. :)
Hm, as I just said on my blog, funny coincidence... Over on my blog, I was showing some scenes from Mayur Pankh and a couple of people wondered how I could even recognize Helen, and I admitted that I got the info from other sources... And then later in the night/morning, I visited this blog (for the first time in too long), and look at the picture I saw! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Richard,
ReplyDeleteYep, its a nice pic from Mayur Pankh (1954). And its Helen's first color film. She was only 15 and who could have predicted what was to follow! :)
