Thanks, Geoff. Great song...never heard it! Excellent pickup. Yes, I think there is a definite connection to Mumtaz's song. I'm adding it to my post so others can decide. :)
Oh!! This is the song 'Kahan Gaya Mera Sanam' from film Ek Nanhi Munni Ladki Thi..sung by Asha Bhosle and music by Ganesh...and performed beautifully by our Mumtaz..am i correct Mister Naidu? so now announce it that i am your winner!!!! yippy!! yahoo..!!!
Great work, Ridhima. You are the winner!!! :) I didn't think this video from an obscure B movie would be identified so quickly. This film also has an excellent supporting cast that includes Helen, Laxmi Chhaya, Nadira, Prithviraj Kapoor and a very young Shatrughan Sinha. Its also one of the Ramsay Brothers very first movies! They would later become famous for Bandh Darwaza, Purana Mandir and many other horror films.
I've got a single of Miss X's "Christine" which this seems to be riffing on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcsSrHRikjY
